While CEIA-SC considers itself to be part of the global BDS movement against Israeli apartheid, the Coordinating Committee believes that given the beliefs and perceptions commonly held about Israel by the general public, they will need to learn why Israel should be boycotted before even considering the question as to if it should be boycotted. Therefore, CEIA-SC is currently focusing its efforts on educating the public about Israeli apartheid, with the intention of building support for future campaigns.
